Looking Glass Technologies + 1994 = System Shock

Doom II HoE was released the same year. If you compare these two games it's clear that Doom 2 was inferior to System Shock in every aspect.

Ah, so it was a game i played without soundcard. :/

System Shock indeed was way ahead of Doom2 in every category except of popularity. SS and SS2 were two of the most enthralling games i've played.

You should try SS2 multiplayer coop. Pick a harder difficulty so you can't have every skill. Then co-operation becomes necessary. Great fun.

I never even tried the multiplayer mode. Might give it a shot!
Even though i am sceptical about teamplay on public servers.
