I'd put the Zelda games as a sort of Adventure-RPG hybrid. It has elements of RPGing (especially the earlier ones) but is mostly an adventure game.

ARPG is probably the closest thing to it, like Kan said. =P

But no, this theme is from a well-known "straight" RPG. It's actually based quite a bit on DnD.

I have played this darn game! I have a faint memory of the music. Perhaps one of the Final fantasy games on NES.
