I just got a new 22" Wide Screen LCD Monitor. It was originally hooked up VGA(analog) until tonight when I went out and got me a DVI cable. All of my games were large at analog settings because they don't go up to the resolution I need, but I could still get by. However tonight when I connected the DVI cable, it turns out the the bottom half of all my games are cut off on the screen. For instance Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour, can display a maximum resolution of 1400 x 1050. I haven't tried Civ IV yet.
Also the max resolution that XP will let me display is 1680 x 1050. Which is what the manufacturer LG recommends for this monitor.
My video card is an ATI Radeon X1950 Pro, PCIe. It is a very sweet video card and I was really looking forward to playing my games. Can anyone help?
