All credits to Monkeyfinger for creating it, and xalien for saving it from oblivion. All I did was check for MNAI compatibility using Notepad++ compare tool, and fix a typo.

Backup the original if you want to play MP as files need to be identical between players. Goes to Assets/XML/Buildings

Eh, just turn tile yields on.

Thats a matter of opinion :)

Im saying if you need to work out if a tile has a forest, its simple - turn tile yeilds on.
If you dont like it, turn them off again.

I'm not stopping you from using it. :)

Same as if your not sure if its stone or not, turn bubbles on.

I don't want to have to turn the yields on, I can know that perfectly fine... provided the game doesn't hide its forests from me of course ;)

I expect most players to play with yields disabled, so having to fiddle with that is redundant. what's there not to like about this change really? I thought it's pretty win-win :D

Oh I do play with yields/resources on.
But at the end of the day, I don't care either way ;)

why do you play with yield on ?
the ressources pointers I can understand, their is a strategic aspect in seeing quickly where are the ressources... but the yields? as long as you can see:
-the terrain,
-the ressources,
-the river/forest,
-the improvement
you'll automatically know the yield.

say Gekko ... could you release a mini-bundle with all three of your fixes rolled into one?

Eh, I began with yeilds on, and I've used it ever since.
I probably can't tell the difference between cottages either, and it helps because I can look at a BFC and calculate the yeild for a city - does it need to grow more, am I overbuilding improvements etc.
It really helps to know the tiles a city is working too.

Thanks for this, I lost access to this file when megaupload went down and couldn't be bothered to redo the edits from scratch

I second that motion.
