Vista Glitch Or ?

Everytime i get to the final end screen (the warrior hitting the thing) and hit the x my game freezes and crashes it also does it if i hit anything other then the x on the space race screen,Also i cant find my saves folder to clear out any old saves..so what do i do?

I'm having the same trouble running Vista. I haven't found a solution yet.

For the crashing issue, take a look here. I had the same issue and was able to resolve it.

I also had trouble finding the saves when I initially switched over to Vista. Try these formulas:

For Conquests:
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Civilization III Complete\Conquests\Saves

For PTW:
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Civilization III Complete\civ3PTW\Saves

Make sure you change the UserName's to the name that applies to your computer. If that doesn't work, search for the name of one of the civilizations you have a save file of (ie. Romans). That's the tactic I used to find the save files.

Ah thank you and it worked, i was able to find my saves folder

Now, i have the same problem on Windows 7, except that the game would not let me past the point where leaderheads try to insult you. (or not) There is no highscores.cv file, nor bic_in or bic_out. And I haven`t completed a regular game, only Conquests.
