Voice ad?

Strange, I was browsing the humor forum this morning and I suddenly hear a voice saying something like: don't wake up your boyfriend, let me do it for you. Then nothing. I first thought I was running a background program, but when I refreshed the humor page again, I heard that wave sound again. What's that?

Oh, god. No. This is what kazaa was notorious for---sound ads. Please say it isn't so.

It's been around for about a week. When it was displayed at the bottom of the screen it seemed to be trigger by your mouse moving accross the add.

I never actually scrol down to the bottom of the page where the ad is. The talking ads never seem to trigger when you do that.

Annoying as hell. Especially when you are already playing music at high volumes. I had my klipsch Promedia 5.1's up at 3/4 volume, and then happened across that ad. Wasn't too impressed.

That porn and chicken video ad was annoying too. I'm glad it's not on there anymore. Imagine my embarassment when I'm sitting with a group of my friends and the computer blurts out "let's stop watching porn and make some of our own!!"
IMO Such an ad does not belong on a professional site.
