I updated the Upload with the adjusted animation. Lowered the Explosion 10 pixels and added more lava "fireworks" so it will "fit" most Volcanos better.

If the Volcanos were not so different in size etc... I would make a lava Flow for fun.
Maybe later.
In any case, for those of you who already downloaded this animation, I believe you will like the new one better I updated the Preview on post 1.

I have to agree with everyone else, this is quite awesome, makes you want to put volcanoes all over the place and set the max eruption to every year.

But there is one problem... as shown in the picture posted below.


Units such as this non-attentive scout, whom is enjoying the ocean sunset view, and the warmth of the lava flow, is about to get blasted by a behemoth magma chamber explosive eruption!

tom2050... Yes, I have seen many Units in the middle of an eruption...too bad we cannot have an animation showing them Burning to a Crisp

The main reason the Lava spurts and Explosion look more impressive and colorful is because the Black Smoke Background allows a much better Contrast to show them better. It should all look Good on a Normal Lighy or Dark Map.

This animation is also great for a map of Pangea or an Iceland Map. (Which I got both ...)
