I settled next to a volcano, but this volcano didnt exploded along with others in the whole game (i played until the information era)

I dont know why but sometimes volcanoes dont erupt in the whole game im the only one?

Pisses me off, because i like volcanoes

lol had that thing in my last game. Pain in the neck but great yields after eruptions.

Expansion2_RandomEvents.xml has settings for percent of volcanoes that are active and occurrences per game for each level of disaster (e.g. megacolossal). The percentages range from 45 to 95 and occurrences from 0.5 to 6, depending on selected disaster intensity.

i found a solution, tried to reroll the same map multiple times till i get it. In a few turns volcano went active.

Why are you guys saying Vesuvius Problem?

Vesuvius was active in my game, but for some reason if i explored it after discovering another volcano the last one wont go active. Do you understand me? I tried this in my game. If i discover a volcano that wasnt active and i dont explore anything more the volcano goes active for some reason

But seriously - there is no rule "every single volcano must erupt". That is random, so yes - entirely possible.

Because it is singled out in random events to have a lot more chance of eruptions and quantity

Try to wait 33 turns if not, then reroll again and try again. One tip is dont explore anything more just wait till turn 33 around the volcano

I solved that problem - in my current game I have 3 different volcanoes on adjacent tiles. Like a little volcano mountain range. I settled nearby and there is no shortage of eruptions. Lol

Three volcanoes sounds like a nuisance lol. Had three in my empire a couple games ago. They kept interfering with my oil supply.

Similar in my game. Playing Inca, with *one* mountain tile on my landmass... had no choice but to settle the volcanoes.
