Keep it the same. And for justification:

A 24 hour turn timer doesn't guarantee 24 hours to discuss things. Leaving it at 48 hours makes it a certainty that there will be at least a 24 hour period in that space for the turn player to log in regardless of location in world and sleep/work times.

We'd have 24 hour turns right now if people would play... don't see how skipping them is going to enhance the game experience, though.

Leave it at 48 (it is at 48, isn't it?). 48 hours gives people on opposite sides of the earth more time to discuss.
