With my style of play, I've seen this a few times :o :mad:

Given your knowledge of CityPref.txt, you probably already know this, but I'll risk being redundant.

In @COSMIC of Rules.txt there is a line:

50      ; Percent shield penalty for production type change
Change the 50 to 0, and you'll never see the tut-tut dialog again. Or, you can make the dialog more or less insulting by altering the text of @PRODCHANGE in Game.txt.
 
I guess Barocca's point is that both options are to make terraformers. I suppose they are units, like engineers ? Is that also the name of an improvement in this mod ?

BTW: Barocca = Car + Boca. And in another current thread, Andu Idorin answers Andy Ore. I am waiting for a Peter Piper.

the terraformer unit was being produced on "Auto",
when i hit "change" and selected (by accident) terraformer thats the warning i got
most amused!
