i was just wondering if anybody else has experienced this.

when you are in the modern ages and you are totally positive that you are going to win i sometimes get very bored and the only thing i can think of to do is declare war on people now i dont mind doing this but i was just wonderin whether anybody else had any ideas or tips which they use?

Set up a big world war, make MPPs with half the world, sink someone's transport, sit back and enjoy. Works well if you have a couple explorers watching the battle.

I usually quit playing once it's obvious I'm going to win. Every now and then I'll set a goal for a game that I'll try and meet, and that's the only time I'll ever finish a game. For example, my last full was only finished because I was trying to get a cultural victory on a tiny map. It got sort of tedious by the end though. Every now and then the other civ would declare war on me and land a few Knights on my continent. My armor would rush over on the railroad and show them who's boss. Sometimes I'd let the Knights throw themselves at the Infantry in my cities, but they'd usually go around destroying improvements if I did that. It did give my stack of 90 captured workers something to do though...
