War Weariness

I'm going for my first Domination victory. Never really had to do much prolonged fighting prior to this game.

My situation is: I was at war with a country, and after a while noticed my production was dropping due to war weariness. No problem, I needed a break to rebuild my armies anyway. I got a 10 turn cease fire from my opponent, but when the cease fire expired I suddenly realized there was a 10 turn peace treaty behind the cease fire that I didn't agree to. Anyway, after 20 turns of peace I attacked my neighbor again, but I immediately went into war weariness. I was wondering if this was a bug, or a "feature". Your thoughts?

How many turns were you at war? Do you get this instant war weariness if you declare war on a different civ?

I believe that war weariness will return at same level if you jump into peace then back into war. I tried that and that is what happened. Civ does not let you go to war without a price .....

How many turns were you at war? Do you get this instant war weariness if you declare war on a different civ?

I don't remember how many turns I was at war - it seemed like a long time - but when I reloaded the game and declared war on a different civ, I did not get instant war weariness.

I'm going to post a sample on the bug board, something very wrong here...

I don't believe it to be a bug, if you go back to war against the same civ after only a short amount of time, war weariness shouldn't have magically disappeared.
