Think in AoE line (AoE, AoK, Mithology,...) or in Cossacks!

I like AoE/AoK but way not as much as SC. Races in AoE/AoK are too much alike. Best feature about SC IMO is 3 different but balanced races.

Don't know Cossacks, maybe I should give it a try

I thought Empire Earth was much better than AoE, because even in EE, the civs were more customizable. I also liked the camera controls and vast amount of units and techs in EE.

Warcraft III was an excellent game. I can't say which is better, SC or W3 after playing both for a while, but both are definitely better than any other RTS out there. Warcraft II was pretty good except it was too easy for me.

EE looked so... strange.
The concept is good at 1st view, but it is obviously difficult to implement.
AoE + CIV = troubles!
