You see, for the last few months, I've been infested by Warcraft III. So I have an idea - what about a NES on Warcraft Theme?

Now, the setting is a year after the end of Warcarft III Campaigns, if anyone here played them.

I would like to know will anyone appreciate this an idea.

Oh, and if yes, then the battle system would be actual Warcraft III.

good to see you back in NESs das. Anyway, that game has stolen many hours of my life, and I would join

ditto me

Never played Warcraft 3 but ive got 2 and 1...ill play...

i've played all 3 warcrafts and have many mounds of useless knowledge of it stored in my brain. If it is a board game type i probably wont play, but i will no doubt watch to see what happens.

Okay. Now, the ones that played in my previous NESes, this isn't much different.

The rule changes:

- The battle system - once the battle begins, like it does in my usual NESes, each side may decide what units and in what amounts are thre, just keep it REALISTIC. I can decide for them ofcourse. The attacking side may also PM or otherwise give me their attack plan. Use of specific spells or hero items better also be specified.

- Story events - during each Month (turn), I will create special events, that influence the story, like the Burning Legion invasions or corruptions, appearence of heroes of the old or the new, etc...

- Artefacts - Items that can turn the tide of war, such as Frosmourne, Horn of Cenarius, and several others, including the ones that I will think of. Each has it's use, and it's side effect, such as Frostmourne - for a while you can get a hero with a powerfull runeblade, but then, don't tell me that I didn't warn you when he switches his allegience to the Burning Legion, and begins marching to your capital with an undead force... Each artefact is guarded, but I will give you the information on their location and guard (if known), as well as effects..

:satan:

Artefacts (to be updated when new ones are announced, or place changes. If I forget anything, please tell me):

Runeblade Frostmourne - In hands of Arthras and the Undead, and Arthras won't fight against Undead with the Undead armies - he is a Death Knight because of it. Is a very strong sword, with the magical abilities, but after three uses in battle in the hands of the same nation's hero, it's wielder will start to march towards the nation's capital with an undead army, to burn the previously mentioned capital to hell.

Horn of Cenarius - Is guarded by the Night Elf druids somewhere in Ashenwale Forest. Can awaken your forests to fight for you for 6 months, but it's use will also place your fate in a dice, to decide whether the balrog and a small army of Golems awaken to destroy your capital and your armies.

The Demonsoul - Is guarded by the dragons of Blackrock Spire. Can be used to gain control over all the dragons in your territory, but if lost, captured or destroyed, then the dragons from your and from all the neighbouring nations will declare war on you.

As you see, I don't have much here, do I?

24: Beckoned by a mysterious prophet, Thrall leads the Orcish Horde across the sea to the land of Kalimdor.

Ner'zhul, captured by the Burning Legion and transformed into the Lich King of the Undead Scourge, begins to corrupt the Human lands of Lordaeron with his Undead plague. The noble Paladin Arthas succumbs to Ner'zhul's will when he takes up the runeblade Frostmourne. Now a Death Knight, he slays King Terenas and turns Lordaeron over to the Scourge.

The Undead army completely annihilates the High Elf kingdom of Quel'Thalas and its capital city of Silvermoon. On a hill overlooking Dalaran, Kel'Thuzad the Lich summons Archimonde the Defiler into the world of Azeroth. One of Sargeras' two lieutenants, Archimonde proceeds to lay waste to Dalaran with his demonic magics.

25: The Burning Legion commences its invasion of Azeroth by conquering Lordaeron and Quel'Thalas, slaughtering most of the remaining inhabitants in those lands.

In Kalimdor, the Horde separates as Thrall follows the Prophet while Grom Hellscream and his Warsong clan inadvertently make enemies of the Night Elves by defiling the edges of Ashenvale forest.

Corrupted by the subtle manipulations of Mannoroth the Destructor and Tichondrius the Darkener, Grom Hellscream's Warsong clan slays Cenarius, one of the principle defenders of Ashenvale and the World Tree.

Having fled the ruins of Lordaeron, Jaina Proudmoore and her band of Human survivors form a pact with Thrall to free Grom Hellscream from Mannoroth's blood curse.

Grom Hellscream falls in battle to Mannoroth. However, he manages to slay the demon before he succumbs, freeing himself and the Horde from the Burning Legion's curse.

The Burning Legion launches its invasion of Ashenvale, hoping to reach and consume the World Tree.

Furion Stormrage and Tyrande Whisperwind, leaders of the Night Elves, summon the full fury of Kalimdor as Thrall and Jaina Proudmoore desperately hold off Archimonde's assault. As Archimonde finally breaks through and attempts to drain the World Tree of its magics, he is consumed and destroyed by the combined might of the spellcasters and the Tree itself.

27: April: The Prophet reveals himself to be Medivh, the sorcerer who once opened the Dark Portal. He has come to finish his guardianship of Azeroth and pass on the mantle of stewardship to the Humans, Orcs and Night Elves, who have at last formed a truce. The world of Azeroth slowly begins to heal...

June: Pit Lord Azgalor leads the raminders of the Burning Legion back to Twisted Nether, when he is joined by Illidan, Furion's brother, who once was a Demon Hunter, but now is a Demon. Arthras escapes back to Northrend, as Humans set sail, with Dwarves and High Elves, aided by a small expeditionary forces of Orcs and Night Elves to free their lands.

July: Last Dreadlords escape to Northrend or to Twisted Nether. Illidan promises to return one day, and to burn the Ashenvale Forest. Eastern Kingdoms are at last reclaimed from the scourge, and peace settles over the lands, as Lordaeron, Azeroth, Quel Thalas, New Alterac and Khaz Modan are reclaimed.

August: Ancients learn how to talk, as Night Elves prepare to face the Undead threat, as Ner'zhul rallies more forces. Darius Baraak, the High Lord of New Alterac gives full equality to High Elves, Orcs and other nations that helped in hte war against Burning Legion. Alteracian generals were charged with foreign affairs, while Darius begins to work on reconstructing his Kingdom from scrap.

September: Pandaren armies rise and construct a Kingdom of their own in eastern Northrend. King Ewine of Azeroth raises an army of horsmen and knights, and begins southward expansion. Alteracians seem to discover the location of Sargeras' Tomb.

October: Alteracin expedition is ordered to explore the island in search of Sargeras' Tomb. Orcs have at last forced Centaurs to stop their raids in battle of Mulgore Pass. Alteracin settlers begin the colonization of the Island to the East of Alterac.
