WARHAMMER - a new standard map from Scytale

@Stormy - there are horses but they are centerd in Bretonia. Kiselev also has one and...I don't know because right now I'm at my girlfriend's office. I'll check later. BTW the new version should fix all the problems. It will come around tomorow or in the weekend.

@Emperor Martyn

:clap: You are the first person that figured that out! That was done on purpose to help me playtest and to plan for a future scenario. Glad you like the map :) .

I am playing as chaos i am just gonna invade kislev with my to get the horses, then go south with my knights, i have already invaded the dwarves valley....

I am ok with the Norse I am blocking them off as I expanded west first and have the middle of Norsca too:). I got through the mountains to the dwarves fairly easily late ancient era, after I have taken out Kislev I am stuck between carrying on with an empire in the borderlands (I have one or two cities there) or carrying on south to the empire...

@ Stormrage
I added more horses...not to many though :), I don't want to make it too easy. Also I think I solved the problem with Marienburg.

@Emperor Martyn
I was thinking to create a series of scenarios using my map an concentrating on some of the important moments in WH history. One of the moments I have in mind is the invasion of Estalia by Araby.

Hi Stormy!
Yeah, me a lawyer now and it's taking all my time. I start work at 9 am and come home at 9:30 pm - and that if I'm really lucky and finish all my things for the day. Other than that I'm playing Oblivion in the weekend.
But I promise that once the 2.5 patch comes out I will finish the map.

In the meantime, can you please convince Aaglo to make a dwarf rifleman? It seems you have a gift with those sort of things and I don't have enough time to do it.

:thanx:
BTW, how good is Oblivion, really? I know all the good sides, but there is still stuff that bothers me - in all the screenshots most (or all) of the objects don`t have shadows, look beneath the tables and such. And horses! Those thingies you guide them with, they are invisible? And that game has the crappiest looking orcs I`ve ever seen. Thank god for highly moddable games! :goodjob:

I`ll see what I can do about the Thunderer, its more likely that the Runesmith of CFC will make another dwarf then anything else ;) Well, except maybe skaven :mischief:

Take care, S

PS - my gf is a law student, I forsee spending less time with her in my future :(

I think it's the best rpg ever and despite all the negative aspects, which are minor, I try to see the good side: from now on, it can only be better :).

But I alwasy wondered what are the Chaos Dwarfs based on?

The cultures around Mesopotamia, Babylonians etc, all curly beards and ziggurats. Civs in this region also worshipped bullike gods, hence bull centaurs.
