Warhammer fantasy units/graphics preview/development thread

My only suggestion would be to remove the gun. I may be wrong, but I didn't see guns on the stikk bommas. And, of course, without the gun it could be used for both 40k and regular Warhammer, so I would suggest the removal of the gun in the interest of versatility. But that's all. Maybe the 40k guys are adamantly opposed to a stikk bomma without a handgun, I dunno.

the stikkbomma -guys have guns (most likely their secondary attack). And of course I'll do some "ancient" orcs for the fantasy side of things (which are going to look a bit like these, since the clothing on this orc is taken from a WHFB-orc, and weaponry are from WH40K-ork :p )

THANK YOU, AAGLO! We Way need Stikk Bommas! And yes, the Slugga (Gun) is the Secendary attack. :D Keep the Gun.

No, Rocket Proplelled spikee Gernades are Far to Complicated for Orks. I mean, its a major accomplishment that Stikk Bommas know to throw the gernade, and not the pin. :D :D

And who Gives a Bats Ass about Vampire Bats! Haha! I made a Funny.

I think it looks great. aplause.

One question concerning that slugga (handgun):
What does it shoot? The name implies, that it's just a basic projectile handgun, shooting slugs. Okay - how does it shoot? A fully automatic rapid fire? Almost like a submachinegun? Single shots?

I'd like to go some semi automatic 3-shot attack B... :)

okay, that's not exactly the warhammer fantasy units/graphics preview/development thread tittle was supposed to suggest... :mischief: ... but these things belong to the scifi-fantasy scene, so I'm not too far off

Since there are only still pictures to go from I'd say your hands are free. But to go with the Ork image, I imagine they have slow firing weapons that do devastating explosive damage per shot and that are overall pretty messy. ie heavy recoil, huge cartriges, their buzz saws and power armours leaking oil etc.

Oposite of eldars who's weapons are a lot cleaner various beam weapons. And yes, this is just the image that has formed in my mind after carefully analyzing hundreds of pictures. People are differnt, I'm sure all people don't agree with me.

EDIT: Unit Already Released, Point is Moot.

Moot is a Funny Word.

Well it is where the halflings come from, it's bound to be a little odd.

I changed the norse swarf graphic in my game to one a dwarf graphic by someone else, although it's not anywhere near as high-quality as such a unit by aaglo would be. Norsca's a funny nation in the WH mod, as according to current GW mythos they should basically be Chaos!

I'm just going to repeat my request for a Dark elf witchlady. Only now I'm going to bait aaglo by saying he's not done one yet because he's no good at making lady units ;) Another type of unit he could have fun making is a new-style High Elf Mage: http://uk.games-workshop.com/storefront/store.uk?do=Individual&code=99060210113&orignav=9

Well they seem to be in the mod in the classic Norse style of being anti-Chaos, which makes sense. GW seemed to just change the Norse into a bunch of marauders that worship Chaos on the side in the last few years though. The Ungols and Dolgans are Chaos too, although GW seem a bit confused themselves as the Ungols are famed for their archery skills yet Chaos has no proper missile troops in the army that could represent them!

There's a section of the Hordes of Chaos army book dedicated to their Ungoliant followers (As well as the Norse and Dolgans). You may express your disbelief to GW, but I can only shake my head along with you :p

UUgh! Warhammer Fantasy Humans are so confusing! 40K is Better. Orkz are Betterer.

Actually I might've been wrong about the Ungols (There's another tribe that also raids Cathay from horseback called the Hung). Never mind. But, LizardmenRule!, it would seem that the present day Norse are certainly an integral part of the Chaos, like the Kurgan or the Kul. Just reading the storm of chaos stuff, whenever it mentions the seafaring forces of chaos it's "the norsemen in their longboats".

Yeah i was under that impression. I was reading about Kislev and they have to keep defending their northern borders against chaos incursions, and most of them are norse. But i also heard that some other nations trade with the norse. I don't know if that's correct, though..
