Warlords 2.08 crash

[Kneet]

I have a problem with a game on monarch difficulty where the game crashes at same point every time i reload it. Restarting my computer and restarting civilization doesn't work either. The screen goes black, the game crashes and i receive the standard windows pop-up that the program performed an illegal operation.
