Got myself a new computer. Loaded Civ4 and Warlords on Saturday, and downloaded and installed latest patch (in-game).
Playing Noble, huge continents, Normal speed, highest graphics (just because I can, now).
Got the usual GG at 30 points and the free one from Fascism. But the second "earned" GG was at 75 points, not 60. Is there any reason to suspect that my heavy use of WB in this game has affected things? I have a saved game from just before the 75-point emergence, if that would be of any use.
I have had the same thing on another installation on a different computer a while ago, which I reported as a bug, but can't locate that thread; kindly and knowledgeable posters pointed me to a value of 50 somewhere in an XML file. but sadly I can't find the bit of paper with my notes, though I do remember that my copy of the file did indeed show the correct value. For lack of information, I can't check again on the new setup. Any and all assistance would be much appreciated.
I have also noticed that on the old setup the turns-to-next-GP were shown on mousing over the GP bar in the city screen. On the new setup there is no such display. Why ?
