Minor Bug: Windows XP Pro SP2, P4 2.8, 2,560 MB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 6600
Renaming a new city or settlement -- Minor irritant.
Bug: When the dialog box comes up to give the new settlement a name, I can’t rename the city. The keyboard backspace command fails to respond. If you highlight the city name and try to remove the city name, the spacebar fails to respond. The delete key also fails to remove the default city name. The game forces you to accept the default name, since it won’t let you change it. Happens only occasionally, not every time a new city is founded.
Work Around: You have to wait until you can examine the city and then the name change can be made there, without problem.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Found a new city with a settler.
2. Dialog box opens and prompts you to rename the settlement.
3. Use the backspace, delete or spacebar keys to remove the default city name suggested.
