Warlords Wont install

I have civ 4 vanilla, and i went to install Civ 4 warlords, but everytime i start the process it installs about halfway and simply stops loading. Anybody have any idea why this is happening?

Im running windows vista. Ive uninstalled and re installed Regular Civ 4 without a problem, but warlords isnt cooperating with me.

is Civ4 patched to anything?
are both of these cd versions?

Yes they are both CD Versions, and no patches have been installed.

Try installing the 1.61 patch (from the downloads database here) and installing Warlords then.

I installed the patch 1.61, then went to install warlords it installed until i got to the leaderheads files... Heres what the error says.

a CRC error points to one of three things:
1) a damaged disc
2) a dirty disc (try cleaning it with a soft dry cloth)
3) in rare circumstances a malfunctioning disc drive

try copying all disc contents from the disc to a folder on your hard drive - then run the install from there. If the same error occurs during copying of the files it is likely that the disc is damaged.
