After taking a look at stJNES 4 and how he gives brief descriptions of his wars, i decided to do the same. Also factoring into my creating this thread is the fact that i am bored out of my skull right now and need something to do. Here goes, first in the line of many, MANY wars in RTOR 2.

Aztec Tribal Wars c. 3800 BC Stone Age

A small hostile tribe rises up against Aztec expansion and are quickly routed and defeated by the much better trained Aztec army.

1st Persian War c. 3800 BC Stone Age

Persia invades their neighbors of India and at first win astonishing victories but are later defeated by superior Indian forces.

2nd Persian War c. 3700 BC- c. 3500 BC Bronze Age

Shamed in their defeat by the Indians, the Persians launched a full scale attack upon Babylon to regain their honor. The Indians, seeing an oppurtunity to destroy their old Persians rivals, intervene and attack Persia. The Persians, unable to fight on two fronts, quickly collapse and are annexed by the two nations.

Eithiopian Revolution c. 3700 BC- c. 3500 BC Bronze Age

The Eithiopians, having been forces into Egypt as a provies centuries before, led a revolt in c. 3700 BC. Losing several key battles at first, the Eithiopians were on the brink of collapse. The turning of the tide came when the great naval power of Greece joined on their side and began landing at stradtegic location across Egypt. In the face of destruction, the Egyptians were forced to recognize Eithiopian independence.

Viking Wars c. 3400 BC- c. 2700 BC Bronze Age

A series of wars that began with the Vikings demanding tribute from the nation of Germany. Upon Germany's refusal of the Viking demands, the Vikings began raiding the coasts and villages of Germany. The main German army proceeded to capture the Viking colonies on their side of the Baltic Sea. Later, due to a dispute between the Russians and Germans, the Russians joined in and began an invasion. Soon after, the world's first true alliance, the Central Powers, was formed between Ireland, Rome, Germany, and Greece. Soon after, Germany's new allies began sending ships to challenge Viking naval power. In a great battle, the Battle of the Channel, the Russian and Viking fleets were defeated by the Greek navy, which led to Russia withdrawing from the war. Around 3200 BC, the Irish were defeated by England and led to the collapse of the Central Powers. Warring in between the once powers of Rome and Greece led to their withdrawal from the wars. Though warring continued between Germany and the Vikings for a few hundred more years, eventually peace was completely made.

Irish War c. 3200 BC Bronze Age

The English had always felt great distaste for the Irish. In 3189 BC, the English launched a full scale invasion, which brought the Irish army, which at the time was serving against the Vikings, to their knees, ending Irish indpendence for a long time.

Grecian War c. 3000 BC- c.2900 BC Bronze Age

Before the Grecian War, Greece was the greatest of all known nations in Europe and the Mediteranean. Possessing the largest fleet, they dominated trade in the Sea. However, their victory at the Battle of the Channel left their navy weaker than it had ever been. Following the collapse of Ireland and the Central Powers, Rome saw a moment of weakness and struck at Greece itself. Rome had won amazing victories on land but were under seige by the Greek navy. With the joining of the Babylonians and Spainish, the Greek navy was soon defeated. With a combined attack of Romans from the north, Babylonians from Asia Minor, and Spainish at Sparta, Greece fell and became part of the Roman and Babylonian Empires.

More to come whenever i get bored. Btw, this will go with the original history, not the history that was more recently made in an effort to revive RTOR.

(hope u dont mind me posting here)

The brief descriptions is what led to the downfal of me keeping up that part, lol. It is horridly out of date, mostly cus the breif descriptions took me too long. I have gone to short, factual information in stjnes5 so I can keep up the front page there.

Anyways, good idea Eq, looking forward to more.

yeah, but this NES isnt running so i dont think that this makes a problem ;)

ooc: I'm continuing this this time, not out of boredom, but insomnia. I've been unable to sleep despite trying everything i can think of, including reading a dictionary. If anyone knows a way to stop this,, i would be enternally in their debt.

World War 1 c.3000 BC-c.2200 BC Bronze and Iron Ages

World War 1 started with a dispute between the Babylonians and Eithiopians over control of land in Arabia. Soon outright war was declared and the massive Babylonian bronze Age army ran over the much smaller Eithiopian Iron AGe Army. The Eithiopians called upon the recently formed Emporer's Alliance with India and the Vikings and The Babylonians called for assistence from their old friends in Egypt. This led to the full escalation of war between the main powers of the time period.

The Indians invaded Babylon opening a major front, and proceeded to drive them almost all the way to Palestine. However the entry of the rising power of Rome into the war led to more support for the Babylonian front. Similarily, the Eithiopians were having success against the Egyptian army and the more primitive Babylonian army in Arabia. However as Spain and Rome began supporting the Allies of Babylon and Egypt, the fightting was slowing in the Emporer's Alliance advance.

The tide truely turned, when the Vikings launched an invasion of Russia. The Russians after falling back, eventually recovered and drove the Vikings back. Seeing an oppurtunity, the Germans, with another phase of the Viking Wars opening, also declared for the Allies and began the fight against the Viking Empire. Around the same time, Arabia revolted against the Eithiopians which currently occupied it. IN exchange for becoming their own nation, the Arabs fought along side Babylon against India and Eithiopia.

The war ended with the Vikings badly mauled and a puppet state of Russia, the Eithiopians weree utterly defeated by Egypt which proceeded to annex the Eithiopian nation, and India, forced out of Babylon, retired to prewarr borders.

2nd Babylonian-Indian War2100 BC-1700 BC Iron Age

The 1st world war in Babylon and Indian is also called the 1st Babylonian-Indian war. The second one, beginning with the 1st world war fresh in everyone's minds began with India once more invaded their Babylonian neighbors. Babylon was then a ember of the New central Powers, which quickly collapse when only Egypt came to Babylon's aid. India was in a better position as the newly formed Asian Alliance was at the time the foremost power in the world.

The war began with wave after wave of Asians crashing against Babylonian defenses, driving the Babylonians back to the gates of Babylon itself. However, Egyptian generals devised a plan which was to quickly end the war. The entire Egyptian army and navy landed on the coast of India and proceeded to capture Delhi, India's capital. Showing the first city fighting ever in the history of the world, Egyptians and Asians battled out a desperate fight for a long portion of the war. Eventually, the Egyptians were forced by attrition to surrender their army and end the war, while the Babylonians also signed peace, losing a good deal of land to the Indians.

wow cool, all thos wars and I was only in the last one lol.
And they call me aggresive...
Can you please say, that while the whole world fought in WW1 i was a peacfull China that grown? :)

why would i say that, it is only a description of wars, nothing more.

Zulu-Kenyan War 2100 BC-2000 BC Iron Age

The Zulu had intially been a small tribe scrunched in at the bottom of the African continent by the Kneyans. After building their forces, the Zulu launched a massive attack devasting the Kenyan army. In a relatively short time the Kenyan nation collapsed to the Zulu army.

Mongolian War- c. 1700 BC Classical Age

A very brief conflict, the Mongolians were quickly defeated by a Chineese army. With superior men and weapons, the Chineese defeated and annexed the nation of Mongolia in a period of 4 weeks.

The Russian Crusade 1800 BC-1500 BC Classical Age

The once New Central Powers alliance had recently just become the Catholic Alliance, consisting of Rome, Germany, and Spain. The Roman Catholic Pope, issued a firely proclamation against the "evil Eastern Orthodox traitors to the Church." The war started badly for the Russians as their puppet state of Vikingland declared its independence from the Russians and let them fight it out on their own. Also, the much larger German and Roman armies proceeded to advance many miles into Russian territory. However, as the war dragged on, the terrible Russian winters and the Cossack raids led to the Catholics being stalled or defeated on the entire front. Eventually, the growing Russian numbers and the long supply lines took their toll on the Catholics and they were forced to withdraw, ending the war.

Chineese Civil War 1600 BC-1500 BC Classical Age

As spite against the Emporer grew, especially in Mongolia and the northern provinces, revolts and later open rebellions took place. In the end, 4 major factions arose, the Shanghai, the Koreans, the Mongolians, and the Chineese, who supported the Emporer. The civil war ended as quickly as it began with the Mongolians cutting a deal with China and India, leading to the rapid conquest of Shanghai and Korea, by India and China, respectively.

The Ages listed by the war and date are the technological ages of the combatants in the war.
