When ever I play the good ol' Duke Nukem 3d (rarely) I always change to WASD, much better! (and why is taking Duke Nukem Forever so long)

Should clarify that in WASD, SD are strafing keys, not turning keys. Anyone who keyboard turns deserves to be camped.

WASD.. Mouse in right hand.

Except I don't actually use A and D to turn (turn using the mouse), but I use Q and E to strafe. And backpeddaling isn't something I do a lot either.

So really it's QWE?

Back peddling when there's a movement penalty associated with it is stupid. More so when you can mouse turn and strafe in that direction. But you do use it for precision movements or to stop an action if you think about it.

I couldn't manage using arrow keys with the mouse -or at least, not on a laptop where the arrows are in the bottem left corner. But anyway I'd find it easier to bind stuff around WASD. (I don't play shooters much at all though...) Arrow keys are for much simpler, old games or flash game stuff.

Off topic a little, but did anyone else know that Tribes 2 is back, and for free! I never really played it much but it struck me as a very awesome game. Really amazed me because I was joking to the guys in my dorm (who have got me to start playing Halo) that I find all the guns far inferior to the spinfusor. So then I had to go Google/Youtube search for Tribes (they hadn't heard of it) when I discovered that apparently just a few weeks ago a public, free download or something was released -tribesnext I think. Just wondering if anyone here has heard of it (or cares).

WASD all the way, it gives easier access to the other keys

WASD + mouse FTW. The Elder Scrolls converted me.

Arrow keys, its what I'm used to and there's no reason to change

I was raised on the arrow keys, but Call of Duty's default was WASD and I was too lazy to change it like I always do with games so I just learned to use the default.

Plus I'm left handed anyway.
