Yes that's the better description than a "coup".
But part of the lesson is they don't want to completely rework 7's design and don't need new designers. Their path going forward seems like it will be a bit whack-a-mole but with a genuine and sincere new leadership to hack away at the problems. I don't think that's "enough" but enough gumption and creativity can do a lot.
