Weak Luxury Resource Buff - Buffs the weak (single yield) luxury resources

Hi guys, I have buffed the weak luxury resources (weak meaning the one-yield luxuries like coffee yielding only +1 culture). Please tell me what you think of these - I know I relied on gold heavily, so I'd be interested to hear any suggestions to change these.

The changes are as follows:

Coffee: Default +1 culture, added +1 food
Dyes: Default +1 faith, added +1 gold
Incense: Default +1 faith, added +1 gold...

Thanks for this -- it makes these tiles more relevant in the late game.

I would adjust them as such:

Coffee: Default +1 culture, add +1 food
Dyes: Default +1 faith, add +1 culture
Incense: Default +1 faith, add +1 culture
Jade: Default +1 culture, add +1 gold
Marble: Default +1 culture, add +1 production
Mercury: Default +1 science, add +1 production
Pearls: Default +1 faith, add +1 gold
Silk: Default +1 culture, add +1 gold
Tea: Default +1 science, add +1 faith
Tobacco: Default +1 faith, add +1 gold

Thanks for the mod. It will be fun to play Civ6 with added advantage to enjoy the game more. Are we able to edit this mod to change the yields of other resource.

Thanks for your feedback! I'm strongly considering making dye +1 culture instead of gold like you suggested. I'm also considering that for tobacco. Faith to tea seems interesting, but I'm not sure that it 'thematically' makes sense (then again, neither does science IMO...). Gold to jade is a good idea too, but I'm trying to limit my use of gold as a crutch for when nothing else works.

It's a relatively simple SQL edit to do that, and you can just use my mod as a template. If you are confused, let me know.

Camck, I've implemented most of your suggestion:

Coffee: Default +1 culture, added +1 food
Dyes: Default +1 faith, added +1 gold
Incense: Default +1 faith, added +1 culture
Jade: Default +1 culture, added +1 gold

Marble: Default +1 culture, added +1 production
Mercury: Default +1 science, added +1 production
Pearls: Default +1 faith, added +1 gold
Silk: Default +1 culture, added +1 gold
Tea: Default +1 science, added +1 culture
Tobacco: Default +1 faith, added +1 gold

Ayy, right on -- thank you! My logic for changing Tea to yield +1 faith was simply that some religions use tea symbolically or ceremonially -- Buddhist monks, for example, would often drink tea to help them relax before meditating.

That said, +1 culture make sense, too -- so, alternatively, you might consider removing the out-of-place +1 science yield and setting the yield to +1 culture / +1 faith.

Pokiehl, thank you. I will use your mod, maybe with slight adjustment for my own pleasure.

Hi, can we have a download link outside Steam ?
