Hey Guys/Gals,

Well, I've created the content for my webpage and have purchased the domain, which is currently parked at godaddy.com. I have installled Apache and well, what next? How do I get my site onto the web, accessible through the domain I have registered?

I am not posting any more specific information because, well, I don't really know what to post. Any help would be much appreciated. I just have to have the site up by July 9th to report Epic 30. Thanks in advance!

Isn't here a site more into this kind of stuff you could ask the questions. Not that it's wrong asking here, but I'm sure there are sites with people who have more knowledge in this area.

I'd assume you'd have to get your IP address linked to your domain name somehow so that when people type in godaddy.com some DNS-server can direct them to your IP-address. You also probably need a permanent IP-address to the internet and not just a normal connection where it changes every time you logon.

I haven't done this so I don't really know, but good luck.:)
