The title is more for me, actually. You see, I love Civilization IV. It is a great and easy hub for modification (according to the countless mods I've seen) and I would like to get started modding.

You may be on the same boat as me, but I am a huge Halo fan. I have every game, every OST, hell, the only thing I don't have is a damn statue to pray over! I love strategy games, but Halo Wars isn't enough for me. The community is way too small and it's pretty much a Command and Conquer rip off.

I've seen the Startrek mod and I love it, however, I want a Halo mod very very badly. Considering that I've seen it nowhere, I would love for anyone out there who is interested to just give me advice in what software i should consider getting. Also, if you've played the game Spore, you'd see that you can go to individual planets, etc. Is that possible to do in such a mod? Have a bunch of individual planets with their own maps? Would that take up too much space on a hard drive?

A halo mod for civ 4? you could try searching the modpacks forum, or request one.

Well, I'm pretty sure that there're mods that have planets instead of cities like Final Frontier (I'm pretty sure at least) as for units, buildings etc. I would be of no use except coding to specific instructions in the XML as I also know nothing about Halo. Definitely put this in the main C&C forum to get more help (after searching of course)
