My first dungeon exploration netted me a Treasure Chest map. Guess where the treasure was to be found? Foxford.

When I got to Foxford, I was presented with some mighty big decisions to make.

Oh well, let the screenshots tell you the rest.

What would you do, and why or why wouldn't the choices be for my Scout vs. the Treasure Chest?:D

a werewolf treasure chest would actually be a nice way to lure enemies to a trap.

unsuspecting scout: "hey look there! it's a treasure chest! ahahah that's awesome!"

*gets closer

"hey look at this beautiful dusk! can't wait to find out what's inside of that chest! we're rich guys, rich I'm telling you!"

*gets closer

"hey, that's weird, that's one FURRY chest indeed. never seen one quite like this before. and what are those? they look like TEETH! whoa this is one weird chest indeed. I bet something truly amazing is inside!"

"GRRRRR..."

*turns around to look at his frightened scouting partners

"you said anything, guys? I think I've heard..."

"GRRRRROOOOWL!!!!"

*screams of dying scouts

Well, after much deliberation, I took the choice that gave me... an Adventurer Treasure Chest. Sorry to say I never will see what a real Werewolf Treasure Chest looks like. Equally sad, that Treasure Chest refused to go with my Scout on further exploration.

What a gyp!;)

Might have been a better option to ignore the village gossip, open the chest, then move the scout back onto the square... Foxford shouldn't stop triggering until one of the other two options are chosen...

But still - that's a might brave treasure chest to go challenging the werewolves...

Hundreds of tiny legs, presumably.

Hahaha... That'd be cool. All fear the mighty invisible adventuerer treasure chest!

Though. I still find it strange, that a good aligned adventuerer has NO option but to leave the place alone.

Theasure Chests have no unitcombat, so they can't get promotions. THey are domain_immobile too, so even with mobility they cannot move.

good old final fantasy mimics

Actually, they get the Adventurer option as well... So long as the unit doing the exploration doesn't already have the Adventurer promo.
Except. They start with said promotion.
Furthermore, any unit with said promotion already it feels damn-near-just-as-funny with.

The LUGGAGE!

It should trigger a Rincewind event later!!... (chance to get a Mage unit with "lucky" and "clueless" promos, but if you ever promote him to archmage, you get a new worldspell)

i SO want to make a diskworld mod right now!

You already have broader alignments, why not use it? Make all of these 'require alignment x' things change the alignment instead.

With the werewolf treasure chest, no one would ever steal your treasure again!
