Mac: Westlake has been given the green light to develope a Mac version of Sid Meier's Civilization III.

The leading PC version is in development by Firaxis Games. According to Westlake, development on the Mac version has just started, but the team hopes to be able to keep the Mac development closely in sync with the PC and ship as close to the PC version as possible.

Hmmm...are there any plans for a Linux version? There are about as many linux users these days as mac users...I'd buy a linux version, for one...

I hope they have a viable Linux version, I'd buy it too!!! I'm mostly a slave of M$, however
