The usual name for Skaven slaves is, you wait for it, skavenslaves. That's too good a word to pass up, isn't it?

Question

I don't recall this being discussed but when the Skaven end up with their own civilisation, what will be the barbarians?

Also, is there a way that you can get barbs to heal over time? ... and if you are able to, are there thoughts of adding this?

Thinking about the groovy Kraken specifcally ... and regarding them are there any others who would like them to be tougher?

Incease hitpoints to 3 and add a point to defence (because they can dive out of harms way when attacked)
 
I didn`t say you posted in the wrong thread, I just think this one is more active now, so you would get an answer faster :)

The mod`s thread is kinda turned into just a thread for noobs to ask questions :)


I`m playing a Lustria game, tiny map with Reikland against Slann, Slyvannia (the Harkon or whatshisname dude), High Elves, Tilea (Marco Colombo), Amazons, and lotsa Skaven barbs.

I captured a Tilean City with 2 GWs, held 20 units in it for 3 or 4 turns, no resistance, then I moved 10 of them out, so I had 10 fuggin units in it, and the bastards deposed!!!!! So I lost half of my troops, when the Lizardmen and the Vampires invaded! I`ll see if I can bail out this one..

Huh? Barbarian units heal the same way as "civilized" units.
 
As for new barbs I think it would be cool to return to the undead, either Necrarchs or Necromancers, This could mean that you use skeletons and Ghouls (use zombies), and the undead ship. The good thing with Necrarchs is that they hate all the living, and that fits most of the civs. ;)
 
I've just added the new barb hut and the new barb units. They'll get a 5/3/1 Skeleton (wheeled), a 5/5/1 Ghoul (not wheeled, using the zombie gfx) and the old Black Galley.

Yeah, I also like the idea of the Necros being the "barbarians" and those Barb camps r0xor!!! Man I can't wait for this next patch (although I do realize that everyone's waiting on me for the Jezzail team).
 
LizardmenRule!: Looks like the Necropolis towns from Heroes of Might & Magic 3?
