You know, come to think of it, why do Orcs even have the Chaos tech to begin with? They don't worship any aspect of the Chaos Gods (Never say such a thing on a big Warhammer forum, but the Horned Rat, Hashut, Khaine etc. are a lot more Chaotic than Gork and Mork)... of course, it would be a bit jerky for me to suggest another quite significant change at this point, but why not give them their own government (After all, they're just as likely to hate Chaos as anyone else) available from the Waaaagh! tech? This would mean they can't build certain wonders, but hell, these are ORCS, they aint builders! Throw in a couple more improvements (Idol of Gork/ Idol of Mork) to counter their loss, then make the Cult of Pleasure obselete at the Skaven-only tech. I'm surprised I didn't come up with this even before this daemon issue arose...

Wouldn't adding another gov't kinda mess up the diplo setup?

To repeat myself: "After all, they're just as likely to hate Chaos as anyone else" (And Chaos is just as likely to hate them). Some nations' most hated governments would also be affected, but having Dwarfs now hating greenskins more than they hate Chaos Warriors and Dark Elves isn't exactly a loss, is it?

I don't know. But I guess it wouldn't mess up the diplomatics, since the governments are set for each civ.

Or it could also be, that I don't understand what you mean

Hey, could you guys do me a flavor and post a big ole picture with the LH for each civ?

That's from the original "Evil, Neutral, Good" set up.
Would they fit more as Neutrals?`
I'm too drunk to think about it more atm... :p

One thing, and for arguements sake, lets say the greenskins get their own government...

the chaos civs and the skaven get a tech called ?????? that allows the construction of the Greater Daemon temples.

now, would the skaven, since they will be unable to build the temples, still try to research the tech?

Sisonpyh- if you think buildable hero units are a good idea, then you should be requesting a hero unit be made for each of the 20+ civs in the game- and then you'll be able to work out for yourself why that's not going to happen, short of kidnapping aaglo and forcing him to work.

Well, take the Storm of Chaos for example... you had the good guys, the bad guys (Neutrals? Well I guess the very few despotic nations were neutral, they didn't have much of a role), and then the Orcs that fought absolutely anyone and everyone. The Orcs don't fit into a set of rules, they make their own!

I don't think the computer would put much effort into researching a tech that only gives an obselete building, though I'm not 100% on that.

Would be handy to have a "shunned government: ALL" option, ay... what happens when you set the favourite government to "none"? do they ahte everyone then?

but would it realise that the wonder is unbuildable before they research the tech?

i guess thats what playtesting is for, right? ;)

I don't want to be attacked by 34 units all called Grimgor. :shake:

About the great demon wonder, ATM I'm thinking of having it at Domination, so it would be available to all, restricting the Skaven more wouldn't be a problem.
