i don't think the beholder really fits, since the beholder is a floating creature with many tentacle things, while the chaos spawn is a huge, hulking mass of warped muscle and is utterly frightening (see pic)

i can give the Uruk-Hai/Chaos Infantry a go. vampire lord still coming along, the attack is tricky, because i have to paste the breast plate over the arms, then copy the arms from another version of the original vampire attack and paste them over the breast plate. very time consuming...

Oh, and I think Dracleath said he is using the beholder as a placeholder. In that case he should use an amazon unit! Makes testing so much enjoyable :p

Very, very important! To me atleast! :p - I`ve been searching for a bear connection to the WH world... The search took me over new lands, deserts, seas, eventually across the universe to the GW Online shop, where I replaced my axe with a mining-pick and started swinging away... What concernes me is when I try to find those models individualy, screening the site, there is no sign of them.. I`m pretty sure the Wood elf is from WH, but its not in any of the lists, and the bear is nowhere to be found... I`m on a brink of a major point-making breaktrough and I`ve came to a stop! Help!
 
Aluminium made the resized version of the Uruk-hai, maybe it would be better, as we are converting him to a human - http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=1966190&postcount=23.

Also, is it possible to edit the helmet? Loose the crest, and add...dun! dun! dunnnn! - horns! :viking: The old dwarf units have some nice ones. If its too much work (vampire lord, jaguar, skaven, ogres, this, that... you`re like a machine!) it really isn`t neccesary :)
 
Ok, here is what I had in mind for the Uruks. I know its horrible, but you get the picture. Obviously, I didn`t try to recolor his skin cause that would make it even more horrible :)

Hey, just an idea, it doesn`t have to be recolored to human, maybe you can make his skin look like its armor or clothes, like in the pic?

that would certainly be easier to do.

and that pic aint horrible. the loin cloth looks especially good... nothing sus

looking at the demo in the thread u provided above, i don't really think the legs need recolouring. so that leaves a helmet change and a shield restoration and that's it!
 
Um... Isn`t the skin too dark for people that live waaaay up north?... And the color I put on his legs is also on his neck and lower arm area, he doesn`t have gauntlets, only pauldrons.. Don`t tell me you didn`t notice :)

It is easier to make the skin darker than lighter, right? And that way we give him full armor..

And this one could be the lighter, Hung version. You know, these are just suggestions, it`s not like they are needed urgently.. maybe you should concentrate on finishing the skaven first..

Stormrage, why don't you just use the uruk as is, and pretend he has some nice dark tights on?
Seeing as how the legs are the same colour as most of the unit, the recolouring process becomes much more difficult than if he had a nice pair of pink leggings.
 
Its only the legs, forearms and the neck... it`s not most of the unit that needs to be recolored.

And that head is from R8XFT`s bloody Asian swordsman I`ve been telling everyone to use for a Ungol marauder/swordsman gfx! There is a link to it in my "post with lotsa pics" in the WH 2.1 thread.

If he had pink tights on you could recolour the whole unit in 15 minutes. As it is now you want to recolour about 750 necks, 1500 legs and 1500 arms. That's quite a bit. There is no "only". Recolouring "most of the unit" would in fact be much easier.
BTW, I'm not trying to discourage anyone to do it, I'm just saying that it's a heck of a job that I would never do. :)

I made the Jaguar beastmistress pic, It`s sorta funny, I will post it later :)

Plus, I making the sum of all my suggestions for units, plus the requested ones, In a one big picture, It looks really awesome. I just don`t know where to post it... should I open a thread for it or something?
 
Hmmm... Actually, its not for all the requests, cause I requested those were-beasts sepparatly. But to answer your questions, yeah, they are all for WH (although some of the units can be used in other mods).
I`m thinking of opening a new thread instead of posting it here mainly because its huge...
