Solar plant, nuclear plant, coal plant, etc. I'm wondering. Does it make sense to build more than one plant in a city? or do plants replace other plants? i allways thought it would make no sense (productionwise) to build more than one plant in a city. am i right?

I'll build coal plants, but generally I build what's available, asap, then when pollution starts to become a problem, I build a "clean" power plant. Nuclear is by far the best, +100% production instead of +50% for the rest.

ok. thanx. didn't realize the nuc. plant had a better production bonus.

But keep in mind it has the meltdown risk ;) :mischief:

In every Civ 3 game I've played, until the current one, I didn't realize that power plants replaced one another. I thought the production binuses were cumulative. In my last game I realized that I was building/replacing power plants over and over and over again. To think of the opportunities I wasted to convert city production to wealth...
