My 3 least favorite are probably the kuriotates, grigori, and sheaim.

I dont like the city limit on kuriotates, doesnt appeal to my play style.

I love the religion aspect of FFH so grigori kind of kills that.

And i dont like to destroy the world in FFH, and i dont see playing as a builder civ for the sheam is very fun.

Malakim, need more flavor, not interesting enough for me to really get into.

Gregori, I enjoy religion too much to give it up.

Amurites, I just haven't been able to get into them. I really need to give them another chance though.

Clan of Embers, i hate scorched earth!

Kuriotates, man can not build so uch cities, just strongholds

Hippus, horseriding people, you gotta be kidding!

Elohim - no unique units!

Kurikorates - only one unique unit, (two if you count dragon), and that little baby-leader pisses me off

Amurites - I can't get into using them. I love the firebow units, but the whole civ needs major work.

Elohim - no unique units!

Did you actually *play* the game, or are you just guessing?
The Elohim get one of the strongest unique units in the game, at the time when they're buildable.

I forgot about the monk...

I was talking more about the basic skins for all their units. I like the civs with unique looking units (like the clan, lannun, the dwarven ones)

Grigori and Illians - agnostic sods they are, and religion in FfH is soooo cool. And the third is the Elohim, too goody too shoes for me, when the evil civs just rock! ;)

well and also the illians have many aspects of their civs that have yet to be implemented... so they aren't at their full game yet

The Illians are not Agnostic, they're just... Exspectotheistic.

Elohim - There just doesn't seem to be much of anything really interesting right now, to be honest.

Malakim - Same. Mostly, though, it just feel akward to have leader utterly dedicated to Lugus... But not a way to actually follow Lugus.

Hippus - These guys take the cake for my current non-favouriteness. Now, I love the whole "nomadic horse-people" thing, mind you... I just feel that nothing's really done to make you feel like you're playing as a nomadic horse-people, ya know? Some serious work is required before they feel "right".

That said, I think Rise of Mania does a lot to make them more interesting... Assuming you play with the Nomadism civic, of course (makes you heavily reliant on pastures and drafts).

(Dis)honourable mention: Amurites. As with the Hippus, I love the idea of a civ ruled by aristocratic mages, but, well... Wizards and Firebows just aren't much to write home about, IMO. Govannon rocks, though.

I love the trade mechanisms and ideas the Kuriotates have - if only they could defend! (But of course I suck at FFH2!)

What do ppl think need to be done to Hippus to make them more flavourful? E.g. new immersive mechanisms?

more nomadism would help, would be cool if their cities could draft settlers even to the point of disbanding cities, and if the settlers got experience that did nothing except represented its share of the cities culture so it could take it with it and add that culture to the new city it made. then maybe allow their settlers to enter rival territory and settle even in others lands.

that might make them interesting, tho it might just be annoying for others heh

Elohim-Nothing all that appealing to me, doesn't stand out.
Bannor-Same as above, not enough flair.
Amurites-I love the concept, however as of yet the civ isn't as magic-oriented as they should be. I figure that will change in later phases.

I voted Kuriotates, Balseraphs, and Svaltalfar. Kuriotates just suck - yeah, its nice having that 3rd ring, but only 3 cities to build in is way too limiting; there needs to be some kind of mechanism for them to convert settlements/conquered cities into buildable cities, even if it takes forever - Balseraphs are just weak, and I never liked the idea of "dark elves" in FfH.. too cliche. All they need is a hero named Dri'zt or whatever.

Why is it in these kinds of polls everyone always complains about the Amurites, but they only have 4 votes - in fact, judging from the poll results, they are one of the best civs. In the poll for "whats your favorite civ" they were near the top, too.. They are my personal favorites, so I am just curious.

I voted for Kuriotates, Luchuirp, and Khazad (in order of how little I like them :P)

The 3-city limit for the kuriotates is just too harsh a penalty. The larger city radius really isn't that useful until later in the game when you have enough happiness producing buildings/resources to get large populations.
I don't care for the Luchuirp because their most interesting/powerful units can't gain exp. I realize that their hero adds empowerment promotions to each golem, but that's only +50% strength at most and the lack of anti-unit and city raider promotions hurts a lot.
Finally, I don't like Khazad because they're unremarkable unless they have a lot of gold, and they actually suck if they have very little(and I usually tend to have very little).

The Balseraphs are interesting, but I do not think there gypsy wagons steal enough culture, nor does Loki, but they work great as spies. They do not seem anymore physically weak than any other race, and there flavor is strong. One complaint is that when Perpentach changes abilities I would like to be able to know what abilities the new ones are.

My least favorite are Sheiam, Grigori, and Mercurians. Sheaim because they hate my leader 'because he is only a man'. Grigori for being agnostic, religion is a major point of the game. and Mercurians because they stole my city when I opened the gate -.-''

Khazad are good if you can keep/make gold or keep a low city count, I can do both XD. But I don't play them. Wouldn't mind seeing more things based on that, such as happiness doing a similar thing for the Balseraphs and horses for the Malikim.

I voted Kuriorites, Hippus, and Clan of Embers. I really dislike the 3 city limit since that really cripples you if you dont have a good starting location and you build your three cities. Plus they are my least favorite flavor wise. When I play a game I want to be something that is better and cooler than my real life like bringing armageddon with the Sheaim or something, not being an 8 year old boy. Hippus needs RoM attributes implemented. Clan of Embers I just have never found... eclectic enough. I always thought the Clan was supposed to be all the evil non-human races combined and it seems to mostly Orcs. I think they could use some more variety.
