MOD NOTE: Please make multiple choice, i forgot to!

Please dont vote until poll is corrected!
I think this poll might actually be useful in determining what civs should be buffed up.

As for me i really never play the grigori, amurites, or lanun.

I hate the farm penalty for the lanun, i HATE IT!

I dont like the religion handicap for the grigori, just dont want to try it.

And TBH, im not a heavy magic user, so im not at home with the amurites.

Crap... could a mod make it multiple choice... I forgot too. :cringe:

Can't stand the Dovellio and Clan of Embers. Yay, barbarian hordes. Whoohoo, marauders clad in animal skins. Yawn.

Also really don't like the Khazad (Yay! Generic everthing is exactly the same except shorter!) and Bannor (see above) are really plain. However, Crusaders>Short models, so I am going to be voting for Dovellio, Clan of Embers, and Khazad in the poll.

Picked Khazad myself. Can't get myself to play a full game with them. At least not since FfH1, back then I used to play them all of the time.

Luchuirp ... I hate slow units.

Clan of Embers / Doviello ... Barbarian alliance at the beginning takes all the raging barbarian fun out of beginning.

clan (hate the science penalty - truncating numbers makes it huge)
balseraphs (chaotic traits, i like longterm planning)
elohim (nothing impressive or even interesting)

Amurites, Bannor, Balseraphs. Just can't seem to enjoy games playing as any of those.

I hate the Civs with the Scorched Earth trait - Clan of Embers
The Doviello because of their poor science
and the Kuriotates because they can have only 4 big citys

And all Civs which want destroy the world, because I want conquer an rule the world. :D

Maybe this poll should be "which 3 civs do you play the least and why?"

That way its not about dislike. I for one think that the flavor and content of many civs are great - even if I never play them. Sometimes I like playing against a civ more than playing it myself. This should be considered when we talk about civ appreciation.

the civs i hate the most are hippus, sidar, and jonas

mind you, these are biased opinions based on those three always screwing me over.. morgoth will always start near me, make a billion cities, adopt my religion, then attack me for no reason; hippus are impossible to defend improvements against, especially with this painful commando promotion gain.. combat 1 from aggressive i like, but commando is just sadistic, and they never give peace, justkeep being a pain; and jonas cause he steals Leaves from me, tho haven't tested this in fire, but its annoying when you're elves and bloody orcs steal your tree huggery.

Malakim, I just don't find them interesting or flavorful enough.

Gregori, because I love the religions too much to give them up.

Amurites, I could never get anywhere with them though to be honest I haven't given them much of a chance either.

I love orcs, but the science penalty from Barbarian really, really hurts, even though the early game expansion is very valuable. I've never seen any T4 orc units for this reason.

I can't stand the Sprawling trait as implemented, so the Kuriotates get low marks as well. I would support allowing only buildings (and maybe only some buildings, but definitely not units) in Kuriotate settlements. Or maybe Research, Wealth or Culture.

The Amurites are presently pretty unspectacular. Does anyone like the Magic Resistant trait? It's utterly useless vs. AI, and should be relatively easy to counter vs. players. I would like to see all of the T3+ non-Arcane/Disciple units receive one spell, appropriate to the unit, much the same way Chanters have Escape. If necessary, the units' abilities can be reduced to compensate, but the Amurites are a touch on the weak side from what I've seen anyway.

I contacted woodelf, so soon the poll should be made multiple choice.

I'm going to suggest closing this thread and starting a new one. In the edit opyions I don't see allowing multiple choices. Or I can edit the title to "What is your least favorite civ?" :p

Ok.. i guess you can close it then. Maybe mods cant edit that in a poll.
