What are your favorite Wonders?

Any one I can possibly manage as I'm a sucker for these things. :D :(

I usually only build (well, unless I'm lucky) The Pyramids if I manage to get an early SGL, but on most occasions neither come to fruition. I do exploit the game in the hope I get an early SGL for this purpose though. I tend to choose non-religious AI's as my opponents and then proceed to research both CB and Mysticism full pelt hoping to sprout a leader. Otherwise, The GL, SoZ and Leo's are my early priorities

I always try to build Smith's Trading Company. The maintenance-free harbors, marketplaces, banks, etc. usually boost my income by over 50%.

Ok. Evolution is obvious. Hoover too, unless the territory has absolutely no rivers (it happened me a few times!):
1) Sistine, for the 6 content faces when building a cathedral.
2) Colossus, for the extra money that can be spent on units.
Never built them regularly, only with a leader.

As a Ptw player I like:

1) Great Library - must have on Deity which I'm trying out now
2) ToE because I really don't want the AI to have it
3) Sistine because happy ppl are always welcome, especially when WW starts kicking in
4) UN - a way of winning that I do not enjoy very much, but a way of losing that is just awful

-I like building the Colossus because it's easy to build and the extra cash is always handy
-The pyramids are very powerful but I only build them via a great leader since building them (if I succeed) will usually leave me in a crappy position where they're of very little to no help at all :(
-I don't fancy Leonardo's that much because I usually have enough cash - i.e. 0 research because of GL & I like playing commercial civs
-Hover Dam - may be great may be unimportant depending on map size/type
-Universal Suffrage is also nice because I wage a lot of wars ;)

Here's an odd answer, with an odd explanation behind it:

My favorite is the Internet--because that Research Lab that pops up in each city you capture effectively solves the problem of culture deprivation in newly-conquered territory. No more having to rush temples!

(For some reason the problem of having to rebuild culture in captured territory annoys the hell outta me, I have no idea why....)

Leo, Sun Zsu, and the science ones(Copernicus, Newton). I don't list seti because I never have gotten that far. Leos because upgrading units is a pain in the but because it usually sets your treasury to 0. Sun Zsu's because I like 1 turn healing for cavalry.

I'll take Leonardo over Sun-Tzu. You can always build your own rax, but AFAIK there is no other way to get half-price upgrades.

Normally my territory next to the end of the game has 10-20 rivers...

The ones that give buildings in all cities. Playing in Huge maps, with 200+ cities, it saves a lot of resources. Plus Adam Sith's.

GL depends on the dificulty level.

Leonardo is also kinda cool to upgrade all my knights to cavalries.

UN is useless. I am always in the list... :p

I can't say I've ever gotten to the Internet on a game when I was taking over the world.

Temple of Artemis also has this effect. I captured it and then jumped from 28% to 35% land area in a single turn when the temple effect kicked in. It really stinks when you learn Education and all of your free temples disappear though.

SoZ, KT (sometimes), Smith's, ToE, Hoover Dam, Newton's, Copernicus, the UN, and the Internet. Those are the only wonders I care about unless I'm going for a culture win or there's some rare circumstance.

Lol Tricky. Legionaries are my favorite wonder too! You can trade them in for any other wonder you want, plus gold and the like.

I like Shakey's and Newton's. And those are usually the first ones I ever think about building ( I also like KT). I like to capture Sun Tzu. I like to capture Magellan.

Shakey's gives you a metropolis before the advent of hospitals, this is a cool advantage. You can get a super producing city that lets you build more wonders. I like Newton's because it doesnt expire. I can live without Smith's. I like to have it but not before Newton's or Shakey's.

It's almost a given that you will get TOE, Hoover and Suffrage. I think Suffrage is the most important of the three unless you are commie or fascist.

Smith's Trading Company is my favorite. I always try to build it. Hoover Dam is great too, especially if you have a lot of factories. Everything else is just nice to have; not a huge game-maker.

In the 2-continent map type (can't remember what it's called but it usually yields 2 continents and some islands) Lighthouse is a must. I will settle the small islands first giving me a ROP advantage and probably securing oil. I will also discover the other continent with its civs first (6 civ contacts to trade will get you a lot).
