What are your hopes for 2002?

Yeah since nobody had asked I am going to start on a new one!
Everybody knows 2001 is such a bad year
So what are your hopes for 2002?


For me
1.I would like to make peace with few of my friends(including few in CFC it is so sad to see ppl here unhappy with each other)
2.More successful in exams
3.Better luck ,this year I hardly have lucks ,all bad lucks
4.Better Civ III resolutions
5.Better economy for everyone
6.Buy BMW new 7 series
7.Become famous (not notorious)

Well here they are: in no particular order!

1 Rule the world.
2 Play CIV, a lot.
3 Post at CFC.
4 Help run the Evil Dictator's council.
5 Be a free speaking man.
6 Rack up more kills in my Fokker Dr1.
7 Finish my fantasy graphic novel.
8 Do more colour art.
9 upgrade my website.
10 See Osama boiled in oil.
11 Spit on Osama's fried corpse.
12 Make new friends / foes!
13 Make much use of this "annoying" smilie!

Realistic:
1. Get my Civ3 to actually work (had it for two weeks, nothing).
2. Rock college.
3. Have Osama die.
4. Hope that the US and world economy improves.

1. As trite as it sounds, peace in the world. By that I mean peace within the hearts of individuals around the world, which would likely lead to world peace. World peace (absence of conflicts) will never be achievable without peace in the world (peace in the hearts of individuals)

personal wishes:
1. a Computer that will run Civ III!!!!!!!!
1A. Civ III
1B. More time to play Civ
2. Get my own beliefs about reality, God, the Universe, etc. figured out (floppa knows what I mean )
3. Continued safety and health for my family.
4. An improving local/state/national/global economy.

Harsher punishment for parole violators... and World Peace. (I didn't watch the movie, Miss Congeniality, but I really liked that joke I saw in the trailer)

Anyway, I hope that

1. I get rid of my laziness.
2. I have more opportunities to get together with my friends.
3. the next Civ3 patch does something to improve the game. (hint: stacked movement)
4. CivFanatics server don't crash not even once.
5. Civ3 Democracy game starts.

...and of course
6. we have World Peace.

Here are my hopes:

1. The Israel-Palestinien situation ends. or begins to end.
2. The Israeli economy will rise, state budget will go up, lot of rains will fall, lot of snow in mount hermon.
3. A girl that I like will suddenly find me unresistebly attractive
4. I pass the driving test and lessons
5. I pass all important exams in school, with good and decent grades (90+% to all real, 80+% to all human).
6. As this is a CFC forum, civ3 will work
7. Sattelite TV company in my country starts to earn money
8. My brother enjoys his trip in australia and comes back in one piece

All of them are 'real' and possible except for the 3rd one maybe lol

If I may be so bold, Rmsharpe, a Correction:

Saddam being annihilated by USAF B2 Bombers.

1) World United under one Government. With one Economy. Communism. However...if the world united under Capitalism.....I'd still be SUPER HAPPY!!!
2) If that fails.....a Global Currency.

Personal Goals.
1) Lose a little weight
2) Get better at programming.
3) When I move back to Canada....to have a safe trip and find a good job.
4) Continue to moderate CFC with the love and admiration of the posters.
