What BNW civ will you play first?

Venice. Then probably Poland. After that, I'm not sure.

I said France before but if America or Germany (maybe India) get an overhaul as well then I will play either of them. I want to play a civ with all of the new additional civs so I can be introduced to them all in one game.

For me it just has to be Poland, then the Zulus. It is hard to say what is next... Depends on the other, still unknown civilizations.

Poland, because I am Polish... :)

Then probably Zulus or something, just because I prefer domination victory.

The Zulus. Definitely the Zulus. I like sub-Saharan African history, and I think I'll enjoy kicking the Europeans out of Africa. :D

Indonesia, because I'm Indonesian

:D

curious about Spice trader and Candi.
use Candi, and trade with holy city other religion. After certain convert, change again, until you get so many faith :D :D :D

There already have been a few threads like this. They just don't get old, do they. :)

I will steal someone's idea from one of the former threads, I think, and will play a hot seat game with all new civs. That way I can see for myself which civs feel fun to play. And when this gets boring (I sure won't play that one until the end) I will either play Poland (being Polish) or Morocco (I find it the coolest flavorwise).

Next I will probably play one of the old civs that got a revamp, i.e., France, or something else if they choose to update some other civ.

Definitely Portugal, they're pretty much the type of Civ I've been wanting to play since Civ 5 came out; a city-state, trade and naval orientated Civ. The Netherlands was close but Portugal is all but perfect.

Brazil first, because they fit my playstyle almost as well as the Ethiopians, then if they have a new Native American civ, I'll try it. It then goes Poland, Assyria, Venice, Zulu, Morocco, then Indonesia.

Sounds like a good idea to play as an old civ against all the new ones as your first game. Will definitely be doing that.

The new civ that interests me the most is Poland, then Indonesia.

This hotseat idea is brilliant! Will probably do that as well and then play as Brazil

I think I'm going to start with Napoleon first, in a game with all of the new civilizations. I've already seen 'ol Nappy, but I'm a francophile and I love the sound of France's new abilities (I've never been too enthused by its existing powers). After that, probably Poland.

I normally do a hotseat game with all the new civs until I decide which one I like best. Although, someone mentioned using Polynesia against the new civs to see all of the leader screens.

Whatever I end up doing I'll probably play for too long.

If the totally alternate hypercube civ comes anywhere close to justifying that description, it'll probably be that. If not I'll just play a civ already in the game and include all the new civs as opponents.

Assyria, easily. I prefer playing as early-history civs, so their inclusion has made BNW an instant preorder for me.

The only way that'll change is if we get another early civilization was one of the two unrevealed.

Vietnam, if it makes it. Otherwise, one of the two (as of now) unannounced civs. Probably the hyper-cube one. : )
