very very very tough one they are all just so crap but it has to be BUTSED for me as ofcourse as i have explained earlier trying to be a rock band when they are pop thats just even worse also n sync is high up there as they did a duet with nelly ewwwwwwwwwww

One will chime in to interrupt ther litany of monosyllabic hate in order to say that they are not all bad, and even if you are of the opinion that something may be that way, you are not being forced to listen to the music.

I don't hate them, I simply ignore them.
A few years ago some friends and I appeared in a national newspaper called "Expresso" (=Express). Since there was a portuguese boys band called "Excesso" (=Excess), we decided to use the photo where we were and edit it to make the cover page of a fictional CD release of a boys band called "Expresso", which was formed by the four of us. We entitled ourselves as the first heavy metal boys band in the world.
We digitalised cover pages of tabloids and magazines where the real band (Excesso) appeared and replaced their faces with ours.
It all culminated with the composition of our two first songs, which were only played live once or twice with an estimated audience of 2 to 3 spectators. We had some fun for a while, but the band broke up when the exams started.

Not politically correct; just a sensible opinion and realism. If you dislike something so much, then avoid it. There does seem to be a lot of undischarged anger and fear directed at these fairly innocuous groups. There is a lot of shi!t music out there, and there always will be, unfortunately
It depends on your definition of boyband, really. I do not like nsync, those backstreet thingummys, and I don't really know any others. But there are all male groups which one doesn't mind. One doesn't class Hanson as a boy band, either, as they write their own stuff, and play their own instruments, and don't just dance around like prats. Pop, yes, boyband, no. As to my other musical tastes, they have been documented, and one does not feel like regurgitating them in entirity at 0500 in the morning. Suffice it to say, I have very eclectic musical tastes, and am not pertubed by it.

Not my kind of music so I don't waste my time and nerves to put them in a proper sucking order. 'Boy band' is enough to switch off the radio. 
The same goes for girl bands, though a muted Shakira shacking her a$$ with Rammstein blasting in the background can be slightly amusing when you have reached the proper state of drunkness.
