Me personally I can't wait to play with English Longbowmen, I'm glad the UU for England is the long bow. It really was a step above the archers of alternative countries at the time.
I also am looking foward to playing as Roman's with the Balista. Glad they have that in, it was a unique siege unit shooting a great bolt like a huge cross bow. Should be fun too play as Romans with 3 early siege weapons. Assuming it doesn't simply replace a catapult or trebuchet which it may. In which case I will still have fun playing with the Unique Siege Unit. I believe its the only one?

The Greeks, despite them being my personal favorite, it would appear that they're one of the only civs that have two UUs in a single era. Which should make for an impressive military.

IMO Civilization>Race as a term, after all Civilization is the name of the game

The American B-17.

And I agree with civ king that Civilization, not race, is what we are playing with here.

I don't know, I mean, we barely know anything about the new special skills and units. Still, holy crap I am SO trying Rome and their "Glory of Rome" special ability. As a power builder and culture player, a +50% on building production sounds beyond awesome to me. In fact, I fear that it might be too much awesome to be balanced, but whatever, I will love it.

50% ? I've heard either 20 or 25%.

I look foward to play as the Iriqous. Me being a New Yorker, it's like a god****ed duty to me, but they look interesting. I hope that Mohawk Warrior is replacing, say, Axeman, not a warrior. I find Warrior UUs to be... bland.

Yeah, I'm interested in seeing how the Iriqois play. If they have a Warrior UU, Mohawks will be the new Quechas, great for beginning game rushes but useless afterwards. If they replace a later unit, they'll be a lot more interesting. The French also seem like their two UUs could be really useful as they seem like they could/should be utilized close together (in time).

The Iroquois were heavily using guns

I always play my first game with Julius Ceasar, this time won't be any different. I have to say I'm intrigues by the French's Foreign Legion though, they may be second.

You will be able to play as Rome...but the leader is Augustus, not Julius.

Honestly, my first game will be with the Japanese cause Nobunaga is awesome and so are Samurai. :)

Always play as Japan my first time through. :D

There are several I am eager to play:

England: Ship of the Line/The Sun Never Sets - I can't wait to build up an Age of Sail navy and establish an empire.
Rome: Two early UUs, interesting ability.
America: the UUs don't interest me as much as the potential power of Manifest Destiny. If it makes it easier to acquire new tiles, this could be a lot of fun for a builder game.
Germany: Two interesting UUs, and an ability that sounds martial in nature...
Greece: Helenic League sounds intriguing

I think the Jaguar Rush never gets old! And sacrificial captives sounds like somethning fin (doesn't it?). So yes, Aztec will be my first choice definitively.
