From this poll it is evident that the European market is as big as the USA one. If this is the case indeed, I would expect some more technical support for us Europeans instead of stumbling upon the vexing "U.S. & Canada only".

No. These polls come up every couple of months, and are *usually* sent down to Off Topic. Occasionally we let one of them (like this one) remain alive up here for a while. If another poll is created, it will end up in Off Topic and/or closed in a matter of minutes.
