What do you do with your workers?

I keep them to clean pollution and to top off my cities. (Generally, I have more than enough for that)

Not if you do it in your own territory. It is exploitive, if you block e.g. resources in AI territory.

It is considered exploitive because units with no defensive values do not actually block amphibious landing. i.e., if the AI has a couple of workers on the coast, you could land your infantries and tanks on top of it and capture them. But the AI does not know this, hince it is considered an exploit in some circles.

You keep 'm all? All my cities are not so far apart and i have about 70 running around, waiting for railroad to come, but once railroad is there, I'd say that 20 workers is enough to clean pollution. Can u make 'm join size 12+ cities? And slaves are so annoyingly slow i just use for airfields, radar posts,...
I'm not gonna bother keeping them when i think i have enough cities, cause then the destruction fanatic comes out in me :satan:

Of course. But why can't the stupid program do it itself? It's not hard to implement, is it?

Too late to implement that now. Should not be hard tho. And what I wrote about ctrl + d would not solve the problem. Had a bad day I guess. Move the workers in stack to one polluted tile and click the correct button x times. What I suggested yesterday would send them to different tiles. ;)
