LOL and :P~

BTW, all three have released albums in the last couple of years...

What's with the hippy killer tag?

Communist fight-songs in swedish or russian...doubt youve heard of Knutna Nävar, or the Red Army Choir for that matter...

i just felt like bringing this thread back up to the first page. :)

I listen to "102.5 clyde 1 FM", - scottish radio station.

and in civ3 the radio doesnt give you anything.......... :D

I use the civ3 background music and usually watch tv at same time too. The tv is right behind the computer monitor so I can just take the headphones off and glance at it from time to time. I usually miss most of what's happening, but I'm usually watching stuff I've already seen before anyway...old sitcoms, the movies they always show, news that repeats every 15 min, etc.

Whoa, I wrote that in December. Nothing's much changed, except that the radio is on much more than before. I could give the radio station I listen to, but anyone who wants to stalk me could find out very closely to where I live...

punk and hardcore is my music of choice. If that's not available anything will do to mute the ingame music. I even feel the need to kill birds after a day of civing with the sound on.

Mp3s, my colection ranges from classical to heavy metal and winamp does nothing to hinder the game.

AFI EVERYTIME.. especially their new CD Sing the Sorrow.. seriously
When I have a headache I also listen to Coldplay and Radiohead and/or Nirvana and/or Moby.

I either listen to the CivIII music, or just CivIII sound effects with the Lord of the Rings soundtrack - that's music that fits Civilization very well I think :)

I listen to classical music, particularly J.S. Bach, Beethoven and Mozart (I've never heard a Mozart piece that I wouldn't be willing to listen to again...and again...and again). Dvorak's 9th Symphony From the New World is quite appropriate for Civ.

"I also listen to Coldplay and Radiohead "

I only though they were popular in the Uk.........

I like to listen to Hip hop when Im playing action games. Makes me wana go out an kill some one....no literaly. But I like playing Epic Fight songs in the modern age of CIV3.....ahhh I have a warm feeling every time I hear aahhhhhhhhhh haaaaaaaaaaa dadada aaaaaahhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhaaaaaaa dadada. Feels like Im in the cold war witch is currently the case between the stand off of that last two nations Im playing with....America (GASP!) and RUSSIA mwhahaahah

It depends on my mood and the state of my game. I find Fatboy Slim and Moby are good for building improvements and culture, but nothing beats metal/punk for going on a rampage.

Last game was dominated by Metallica, Megadeth, NoFX, and Pennywise. With that list of bands, you can probably tell what type of victory I was gunning for.

I usually listen to the ingame music, but lately thats getting boring. So I'm gonna start listening to my MP3s of trance/techno bands no-ones heard of. t r a n c e [] c o n t r o l, Heavenly Studios, Moby, and other random stuff mixed in.
