I choose Civ, SMAC is basically Civ 2.5. Honorable Mention to Pirates and Railroad Tycoon.

Yeah right! Since when did Civ 3 allow you to design your own units? It's based off the civ model, but there's a lot more awesome stuff.

Good point. But Brian did more. Much of the original civ concept is his, not Sid's! Marketing is unfair.
