Just want to see users opinions about their own countries. In example, of course England wouldn't be expansionist if nowadays, right?
Being from Brazil I would say if we were included in the game, would have to be Militaristic and Commercial. How about yours?

America, which I would say today, Militaristic/Expansionist/Religious ;) no actually, Industrious Commercial or Industrious Scientific, or something like that.

As for America in general, FIRAXIS picked good traits.

Modern day Finland would probably be industrious & scientific.

In general, thinking of also the "Finland" before the independence in 1917, industrious & commercial might be more fitting.

Well, for my country (England) it all depends on what point of our history you take. If it's from the time when we were the world power, controling over half of the world then it would be Expansionist and Militaristic.

If from the time when we were the heart of the industrial revolution........Well, that speaks for itself.

If from the time when we were the main hub for international commerce........

But, how about the time when we were at our hight of arts, and introducing the English language to ourselfs........ We can't be cultural can we :crazyeye:

So I think for most countries it may depend on what point in their history we take the qualities from.

Ps. Hello Everybody, I'm here & thanks for all the advice i've been reading for past few weeks :goodjob:

I agree with commercial, and scientific is also a good choice. However scientific could also be replaced by expansionistic...

For Spain: Puppet of Imperialists/Nonscientific

My traits for Canada would be:

1) Scientific
2) Commercial/Expansionist

On behalf of Scotland, I would suggest Scientific and (in lieu of another trait) the ability to treat Wheat+River squares as an additional luxury item, whisky.

Whether we'd then want to trade that to the rest of the world or not is probably a balance between meanness (take the money) and selfishness (take the bottle)...

Scotland = Industrious and Scientific

for the industrial times scotland had massive industries

and Scotland was a leader in scientific discoveries during the time of the britism empire
e.g. we invented the telephone,T.V. and Penecillin which has saved over 500 million lives across the world and chloriform which means ure not awake while u have an operation.

those are probably the most famous but there are many many many more.

P.S. USA should be militaristic... look how many armies they have and they attack so many people.

I agree with my fellow scots. Scotland's leaderhead would be from the industrial age (dunno who cause we didnt have any ;)). We would be Industrious and scientific, and the UU would be a different rifleman. Probably a jacobite or something.
