I think it's a bit ****

You can't open multiple messages in seperate windows

Navigation is difficult, and seems designed to make you go where Microsoft want you to go so they can show more ads

It's difficult to get to your inbox! (this Today thing is just ****e)

Anyone know any other good free email accounts (apart from Yahoo!)

Lycos, Mail.com, Netscape, Netzero. . . I'm partial to Yahoo myself. Havne't looked at the new hotmail, but now that you mention it, I may login and see what it's about.

I logged in there once, and now it tells me how many unread messages I have every time I logon to the computer. I already have enough mail-addresses...

not bloody likely! I just read the Privacy statement and it specifically says that they indeed to collect and use my contact details and pass them onto 3rd party companies. Junk mail ahoy...

I think the format is horrible. It's an eye-sore, very confusing. In the bottom right-hand corner of Hotmail, there's a link for "feedback." Those who think it's lame should complain there, I and many others already have. Massive letter-writing campaign time! Yeah!

I hate it.

I hate it.

Then again, I never really liked Hotmail's interface in the first place. It just looks worse now. Is MS trying to make it look more high-tech?

No, they're trying to pander it to as many idiots as possible.

I reported one of those emails from MSN trying to get you to switch to the pay email as junk yesterday. My account's still open, and shock troops have let to invade my house, so how about every does it?

PS. I first joined hotmail back in '97, and the 2nd version I ever saw was my favorite. Then Microsoft took over, and went downhill fast.

It is worse than it was, but still it is cheap like the budgie.

What the hell is the difference? I just use it for spam mail anyways, so I don't notice/care I supoose.

Well for me, looks matter a lot. Which is why I love Yahoo so much - the format and colors are easy on my eyes and look sharp. Hotmail has been meh...until now. I have always hated Mail.com's format because 1) it uses frames and 2) its layout works to its best to hit you with ads.

That's just me though.
