I realize this might sound like a dumb question. But hear me out. Hope I make sense in my explanation!
We are playing a hotseat game. As usual - when looking at the tech tree, we can see which technologies have been researched or not based on the green/gold color. However, when you hover over the technologies, some of them show (RESEARCHED) after the name and some don't. What makes this weird is that it does no match up with what has actually been researched (shown correctly by the green/gold color). About half of the completed technologies show (RESEARCHED) next to the name of the technology but the other half do not. There are also several technologies that have not been started that show (RESEARCHED) when you hover over it with the mouse.
Is this simply a bug? Or does it actually mean something? We have not noticed this before during single player games but we can't say if it was happening before hotseat came out. We weren't sure if it meant that research agreements were putting points towards specific technologies or something. I'm not sure. It seems like just a bug but I wanted to make sure we aren't missing something.
Thanks in advance!
