I know it becomes a tradable item but what else does it do? Does it add to production of wonders? There's nothing really in the civilopedia that talks about what it does when you improve the tile...

It increases the production speed of certain Wonders by 100%. For example Stone speeds up the production of the Pyramids, Stonehenge, etc., while Marble speeds up the production of the Great Library, the Oracle, etc.

Check out your Civilopedia for more information :).

Also adds hammers when you set up a quarry. Having stone or marble nearby is a really good thing... having them both nearby? Heaven! Near certain capture of whatever of the early wonders I want.

I have one question, when they say Marble x 1, is it mean I only have one marble? So, if I trade it, I can't use marble for my civ. Am I correct to say that?

Thanks!

Regards,
Arto.
