Now, if they have identical culture (unlikely but still possible)...score? 
Now, if they have identical culture (unlikely but still possible)...score? Testing this is a must. I think the player on top of the list (that is on top of the screen, with the score) will get it.
Sounds unfair maybe, but that's what would happen in a turn based.
You still have civs play order in simultaneous: it is the number before your nickname.

Okay, I was just wondering about this, because I'm sure it happens more than we know. Also, I agree, testing this is a must.

i don't think you can have both finish on the same turn as the human player always goes first.
I think in single player the game is sort of rigged for the human player. I swear I've had 1 turn to go on a wonder and I spied on another civ and they had 1 turn to go as well. I ended my turn and when the AI's finished their turns I completed the wonder on my turn.
