What if the Earth had no moon?
How would man develop with only starlight at night, no tides, etc.

Forget man, this might've had a huge impact on evolution of life on Earth. Man might've never arrived.

What if Mars had orbited the sun closer and had a tectonic plates and thus kept an ocean and life also evolved there? What if Mars was Earth II? I think this will only be interesting if intelligent life evolved there, otherwise we'll just colonize it and exploit the resources.

What if the Natives of North and South America sailed to Europe and coloinized it?

I know, but I was wondering if you had a specific point in history that, if changed, could have that result. That is what a POD is (Point Of Divergence). When doing alt-history it is important to work from a POD forward, rather than working from an end result going backward.

@Slavic Sioux- Same question for you. Do you have a particular POD? As I said, in alt-history you need to start with a POD, not a result.

Humm, thanks for clarifiing what is POD, I was not realy seeing what it was, but I have none, I simply ask retorical questions without an answer.

Besides Im not an historian, and I was the worse in my class, I like history for itself tough.

Ah. Sorry, I am used to the Alternate History Threads in the Never Ending Stories subforum, where people are very used to alt-hist lingo and procedure. Actually, your first proposition (the one about King Sebastião) is a very interesting POD. Unfortunately, my knowledge of Portuguese history is near nill.

What if the Dutch (who were the first to Brazil) had given the Inca musket technology before the Spanish conquered them?

Huh? The dutch weren't the first in Brazil by a long shot, and when the dutch actually started sailing seriously, the Incas had already been conquered decades ago.

mmmmm......

I didnt know that there were Incas in the Amazon either.
