What is a good headset?

After my last one failed, I'm looking for a new headset. I don't need something fancy, just a basic headphone+mic set with an in-line volume control. Preferably I would like to find something less then $30, but I can go over that if needed. Either analog or USB is fine, so any suggestions you guys have, I'm all ears.

I'm using a cheap pair of logitech analogue headphones. They do the trick and have lasted about 6 months so far.

I recommend staying away from 'Computer Associates' products. They seem cheap, but they always break down on me. My next set will be from Plantronics.

Sennheiser PC30 are the ones ive got atm. I dont use the headphone part, just the mic part so I cannot comment on audio output quality, but the mic is pretty good and its lasted me 3 months so far of fairly often use. No inline volume adjustment though.

Well, I have no need for one cus Ive got a G11 keyboard, so my media controls do everything I need.

Its logitech, so I trust it to be at least decent.

I know a guy that swears by a set of headsets that have a skull on them. I don't know the brand but he said for a cheap set ($29.99 or less) they are the way to go. Let me see if I can figure out what the brand is, Google search to the rescue!

Edit #2: Shoot, I missed the part where you were looking for the headphones/microphone combo. I don't believe that Skullcandy does that...sorry!

I just ordered myself a Creative Fatal1ty one ($50). Cheezy name but I read some reviews that it compares well to a Sennheiser. I decided against Plantronics since the cheaper ones have some issues and short warranties, and the better ones need an amplifier on top of the expensive headset.
